Trellis poles

For your intensive garden, we are offering trellis poles made of pretension concrete

  • Pretension concrete is a technique for making poles rather than a building material. It is oriented to optimize pressure force, taking full advantage of concrete. Pretension concrete poles are formed in 60 m long casting molds using the pretension wire technique. Strands of reinforcement stretched by an external machine with force close to the steel integrity threshold are placed in the form prepared for pouring of liquid concrete. These strands should necessarily be made of harmonized steel with an increased fit. Then the concrete is poured into the molds, and a partial hardening of the mixture is waited, usually up to several hours. When the concrete has reached the required density, the tension of the wire strands is gradually reduced, the wire takes its natural shape (during tension, the wires are stretched a few millimeters per meter of length), and turns the resulting tension force into a compression force (compression) absorbed by the concrete. Then the poles are removed from the molds and cut to the desired length.

    SECTION 7 Х 7,5

It is a traditional diameter for the garden and vineyard. It is manufactured in a conventional or reinforced version, depending on the internal reinforcement. The usual 7 Х 7,5section involves the use of 4 strands of 3 wires, 2.25 mm each, while the reinforced version has a reinforcement of 4 strands of 3 wires, 2.25 mm each.

    • Code: Section 7×7,5
    • Reinforcement: 4 strands of 3×2.25
    • Pole length: 2.5; 3; 3.5; 4; 4.5 meters
    • Weight: 11.0 kg/m
    • Concrete module of elasticity, Mpa by EN10138: 1960
    • Frost resistance: 300 cycles

    SECTION 9 X 9,5

It is a traditional diameter for the garden perimeter and for the vineyard main poles. It is manufactured in a conventional or reinforced version, depending on the internal reinforcement. The usual 9×9.5 section involves the use of 4 strands of 3 wires, each 2.25 mm, while the reinforced version has a reinforcement of 6 strands of 3 wires, each 2.25 mm.

    • Code: Section 9×9,5
    • Reinforcement: 6 strands of 3×2.25
    • Pole length: 3.5; 4; 4.5 meters
    • Weight: 20.0 kg/m
    • Concrete module of elasticity, Mpa by EN10138:1960
    • Frost resistance: 300 cycles

    SECTION 10 x12,5

It is a reinforced concrete poles for strengthening the trellis of hail protection system of intensive gardens. Installed in the corners of the block. The usual section of 10×12.5 provides for the use of 8 strands of 3 wires with a diameter of 2.25 each.

    • Code: Section 10×12,5
    • Reinforcement: 8 strands of 3×2.25
    • Pole length: 3.5; 4; 4.5; 5.8 meters
    • Weight: 24.5 kg/m
    • Concrete module of elasticity, Mpa by EN10138: 1960
    • Frost resistance: 300 cycles
